Linda S. Glau, CPA
Linda Glau is an Inland Empire Accounting and Tax Professional with extensive experience with small businesses and Government Districts. She works closely with her clients to ensure they receive the type of accounting support they need.
Linda graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 1984 with a bachelor's degree in Business Economics, emphasis Accounting. After a summer position managing payroll and human resources for ARA Food Services at the Olympic Village in Santa Barbara, she began her professional career at Ernst & Whinney (now Ernst & Young) in Century City. After spending one year auditing small businesses, she was promoted to the Firm's tax department. Here she specialized in individual and real estate partnership returns. She was also trained on consolidated corporate, payroll, and gift tax returns.
In 1987 Rockwell International recruited Linda to lead the newly-formed Payroll Tax Group. Here she designed, documented and managed over 100 accounting, tax reporting, and internal control procedures. Using her interest in and knowledge of computer programming, Linda was able to write code to assist the COBOL and Focus programmers as they supported this group. Linda was named Manager when this group was formalized into a department.
In 2000, Linda left Rockwell to start her own accounting and tax practice. Beginning with just sixty tax clients, her practice has grown to over 175 tax clients, over twenty accounting clients, and over ten payroll clients. With one exception, all of Linda's new business is the result of referrals from satisfied existing clients.
