Interment Eligibility
Please contact and speak with an office representative to see if you or a loved one MAY or MAY NOT qualify for burial rights.
- Decedent is a resident of the District at the time of passing, or
- Decedent is a property tax payer of the District, or
- Decedent owns internment rights in Temecula Public Cemetery District*, or
- Decedent is related to an immediate family member, Mother, Father, Brother, Sister or child already interred in Temecula Public Cemetery*
- Tax Rate Area on Property tax bill consistent with the Riverside County Assessor's office
The District will request a copy of your property tax bill for eligibility. There may be other legal documents needed for review before an appointment can be made. Please be aware that when the new cemetery location in wine country opens, and provided there is still available space at the cemetery on C Street, only then will we open it back up for pre-planning.
